About the Artwork
A painting of Binday Dam, San Fabian, Pangasinan as it was back in 2018
Due to extensive quarrying throughout the decade, the rivers of Pangasinan have constantly been changing, to the detriment of nearby towns and cities. Binday Dam has been witness to this cycle of change. The river I swam in during my childhood is now a rocky plain with large puddles that only fill up during the rainy season.
