About the Artwork
"Calle Crisologo" is a busy street located at the Heritage Village, in Vigan, Ilocos Sur, where you can find an array of old Spanish houses.
I used to stay at Aunt Bining's house near Calle Crisologo. When Aunt Bining's husband died, she and her son migrated to our province in Batangas. Unfortunately, my aunt and her son died recently because of COVID-19.
The proceeds will go the Aunt Bining's family.
Clean lines, realistic detailing, and warm tones evoke a sense of longing for a simpler, vintage past. The vibrant greenery and bright sunlight create a cheerful yet reflective atmosphere of a bygone era.
