    A native of Badian, Cebu, Philippines, Boyet is a traditional painter and product designer.  He had his first solo art exhibition in 2000 at the Rizal Museum and Library on Jones Avenue, Cebu City.  Since then, he has been joining art exhibitions both in the local and national scenes, including the 1997 Installation Art competition in Cebu, where he placed first.  In 2004, he founded a fashion accessory business.

    He also received a “Espasyong Bayan” project grant for Small-Scale Model/Maquette Making for Filipino artists nationwide.

    Boyet earned his Fine Arts degree in painting from the University of the Philippines Cebu College.
