About the Artwork

The painting recalls the artist during his childhood when he would go to his cousin's house every Saturday to borrow a bicycle. He wandered the street in the afternoon to watch the sunset in a dam nearby.

Soft, muted colors and earthy tones combined with realistic shading and a serene setting create a reflective and introspective mood.
