Enrique has 3
artworks,
and is available for
commissioned work.
Enrique's artistic mission is to seek out new visual representation of otherwise ordinary images--a tree, hut, leaves and flowers, face, and even match sticks. He aims to promote the Filipino heritage and take a place in the international arena of world-class art. Although he is a latecomer in the fine art scene, he has won international awards starting in 2010. His works are suffused with color and detail. He believes this expresses his creative passion intended to manifest joy, rejoicing, and happiness.
Enrique was born in 1953 and completed a fine arts degree from the College of Fine Arts & Design of the University of Santo Tomas. He served actively in various capacities for the college newspaper as its photographer, illustrator, and correspondent. After graduation, he worked across multiple design studios producing graphic design and multimedia materials for advertising applications. Later on, he set up an animation studio that hoped to create Filipino original content and take on outsourced work. Although he still makes commercial applications, He currently spends most of his time on fine visual arts.
