About the Artwork

The pangangaluwa is a folk tradition where people visit houses at night to sing songs related to All Saints' Day and All Souls' Day to solicit gifts. The practice is more common in rural areas and is often done by children or teenagers.

Soft transitions in hues and diffused light create a serene and intimate atmosphere, while the earthy tones emphasize the human connection to art and music.
