About the Artwork
This is my first painting since my mother's recent untimely death. I was too depressed then, and I had dreamed my mom whispering to me, "not to waste my time anymore and think of my youngest," who was late in going to school on that same day.
I'm looking forward to making more paintings again and live with the living.
Brushstroke layers and vertical lines contribute to a dynamic rhythm filled with contrasting warm and cool tones, creating a sense of movement and energy.
