About the Artwork

The Philippines' postal service began during the Spanish period with horse-riding couriers until it implemented some marked improvements, which the Americans initiated. Today, the building hums daily with fast postal service, with letters pouring in daily from every country corner.

Balancing warm yellows of the structure with cool blues of the water and sky evokes a calm and peaceful atmosphere. The soft brushwork and reflective water surfaces enhance a tranquil and timeless mood.
