About the Artwork
"Pikas Bukid" is a Bisaya term for "kabilang bukid" (Filipino) or "the next valley."
It was inspired by one of my trips with my wife, where traveling on the mountainside gave us a fantastic view of the next valley.
Soft, natural colors with vibrant greens and blues create a serene and calming mood. Contrasts between the bright sky and detailed foliage evoke harmony and tranquility.
