About the Artwork
The artwork depicts the golden sunset at San Fabian Beach, Pangasinan.
This beach is unique during sunsets, especially when the clouds are coming in from Lingayen Gulf. Sunsets here are not pink nor orange. Sunsets there are yellow. The yellow gets so intense that it almost looks like gold. The black sand reflects all this, making the beach seem endless if it wasn't for the Cordillera mountain range as seen from afar.
