    Peter Bruce
    Cebu City, Philippines

    Peter has 10 artworks,
    and is available for
    commissioned work.

Peter is UK-born and is now a permanent resident of Cebu.

He studied photography at Paddington College London. Then, he took up watercolor painting approximately 10 years ago. His work combines the two mediums using the photographic techniques of composition, light, and "capturing the moment," combined with the vibrance and saturation watercolor gives.

He views the familiar Filipino street scene differently--seeing a landscape of pure light and color. That sari sari store, jeepney, advertising hoarding, etc., is not a function to get coffee, shampoo, or a ride home but a source of high saturation of color within the moment. His art documents the ever-changing life of the Filipino, which will adapt and vary in years to come.

He has exhibited at art fairs, like the Tubo Art Fair in Cebu.
