commissioned work.

Amanda is a modern painter living and working in the Philippines. She studied illustration at Parsons School of Design in New York City; she has a bachelor’s degree in multimedia arts from the College of Saint Benilde in Manila. After working as a junior art director for a fashion magazine, she has ventured out into the art industry in Manila, where she pursued her love for painting by creating murals from restaurants in cities to private beach resorts and private homes. She is now a full-time professional painter; she paints for herself and collaborates with clients who have the same passion for art. Clients create their ideas through her as an artist.

Amanda’s work incorporates natural elements in vivid colors that express emotion. Her travels inspired her first watercolor series: European townscapes to seascapes around Southeast Asia, pulling all colorful memories and objects onto a blank canvas. She visually communicates to all ages with the aesthetic expression of concepts, ideas, and storytelling using traditional art mediums from basic watercolor, acrylic medium, to digital art.

She currently works out of her studio in the suburbs of Manila.
