About the Artwork
"Snakes and Ladders" is a nostalgic board game, especially for me. I was born in the '90s where technology or the internet was not a standard yet to children. "Snakes and Ladders" is the game my siblings and I played during rainy days when we couldn't go outside to bike or play.
Through vibrant colors, surreal elements, and fantastical imagery, the scene evokes a sense of wonder and deep curiosity, blending an otherworldly charm with an enigmatic atmosphere.

As a little girl, Ria always enjoyed watching cartoons, anime, and reading manga. Thus, inspired by the shows and manga illustrations, she decided to pursue her passsion for drawing and painting. She believes that drawing remains a primary tool even in today's highly-digitized practices and that potential is more valuable than experience. Ria is currently a freelance 2D animator.
