About the Artwork

We all have dreams and goals in life. We strive to achieve them, to build the life we want.

Sometimes, though, when we're getting there, some things happen. Unexpected things, and unwanted things come our way and shake things up to the point would mess the beautiful picture we painted for our life. I've been there a lot of times. Well, even now, as I write this, I can easily list several unwanted things/happenings in my life.

I truly believe these challenges naturally let you let go of things that aren't good for you or the things that are the least beneficial to you to give way to things that will help you.

So when challenges come our way, accept them, focus on seeing what good we can get out of them, and believe that we can and will come out a better person with a better life.

Through its intricate geometric shapes and sharp black-and-white contrasts, it conveys a sense of energy and movement while maintaining balance and focus.

    Nina Javier
    Antipolo City, Philippines

    Nina has 6 artworks,
    and is available for
    commissioned work.

With a Management Economics degree from the Ateneo de Manila University, 10 years of working experience in corporate sales and marketing, and a long history of being a competitive athlete and sports enthusiast, Nina never imagined that in 2017, she would get into art. She ended up working with pen and paper because of her desire for personal development and self-expression. She used these as tools to do introspection--she uses general figures, intricate details and patterns to express her journey towards self-discovery and her celebration of life. In her works and life, in general, she finds so much joy in (creating) the details, but she finds that there is also a different kind of excitement and satisfaction in believing that the bigger picture is, and will always be, better.
