About the Artwork
"Suria" is the name of an Indian artist, a friend and a co-worker in Lulu, Dubai. He is from Kerela, a southern state of India.
We were doing a mural project during this time, and I sketched him while he was doing his work.
The use of monochromatic pencil shading, strong lines, and subtle details creates an atmosphere of concentration and dedication, highlighting the act of creation and the subject's focused posture.
