A Cuervo's inspiration strikes randomly and never forces herself to create. Rather than sticking to a single subject or style, she paints whatever she feels.
She started with botanicals, but she now takes inspiration from Bulul sculptures, except she translates their faces onto paper and provides them with more fluid expressions.
She’s fond of the unpredictability of watercolor and the structure a pen offers. She sees them balancing each other out, making the whole picture more cohesive.
