Webster, who hails from Baliuag, Bulacan, and studied business administration, is a self-taught artist who enjoys creating abstract paintings, portraits, and landscapes. His favorite mediums are acrylic and graphite. His paintings are dynamic and colorful, which provide comfort, positivity, and satisfaction to the audience.
At 10, he was introduced to different forms of art. He started drawing clothes, sports cars, houses, churches, and sceneries.
He began drawing realistic human faces in college, learning the basics, such as grids and other techniques. This led to accepting his first batch of portrait commissions, using graphite, and later on his original abstraction works.
His piece, “Cityscape,” was the first work he sold via an art gallery. This has marked the start of his journey as an artist-entrepreneur.
With skillful hands and an imaginative mind, he continues to study and pursue the arts, with the help of his mentors and a little social media marketing.
“One’s art can be valuable if the artist behind the piece values his talent and confidence in himself,” he said.
