Mildred has been painting since she was in high school. She paints women, still lifes, fruits, and flowers. She also helps her dad paint the coconut shells they sell to Hawaii, Puerto Rico, and Guam. She paints the shells with nature elements and Hula girls.

Ever since the pandemic started, she has been painting every once in a while.
