Yohh is a Filipino artist engaging in the realm of abstraction.
The artist graduated with a bachelor’s degree major in drafting (combination of technical and freehand drawings), which developed his visual skills and where he understood the value of technical skills and the appreciation of art. He beholds himself as an artist formulating art inspired from [1] the Philippines' environmental contemporary issues, [2] ideas based on the archaeological and historical context of the Philippines, and [3] his experiences in this spherical world, expressing on a soft black canvas.
The artist's signature styles are using an object (material culture) and acrylic paint on black canvas, disseminating the modeling pastes for texturing, applying a different variety of mediums, consulting on color theory for choosing colors appropriate to the idea, and presenting the message of the art through the forms of simple abstraction.
