Manila, Philippines–FilipinoArt.ph has been adjudged as “Best Online Art Gallery” in the Philippines by the UK-based media outlet Corporate Vision Magazine’s 2022 Small Business Awards. These awards are granted to companies based on merit and excellence after thorough research and judging stages, including business performance, longevity, and innovation.
Aligned with the Corporate Vision’s advocacy, which is to champion international companies that innovate, grow, and thrive despite the challenges, FilipinoArt.ph, now operating for three years and representing more than 400 Filipino visual artists, has been thankful for this pat on the back.
Small businesses are the backbone of the economy, and their work should be recognized to match their efforts. I offer sincere congratulations to all of those recognized, and hope you have a fantastic year ahead.
Ms. O’Caroll was joined by other awards team members Martyn Walters, Corporate Vision lead researcher; Jeremy Roe, head of research; Laura Hunter, awards manager, and Steve Simpson, senior awards executive, in the judging committee.
FilipinoArt.ph, on its part, commits anew to bridging the gap between Filipino visual artists and art patrons across the globe, expanding the former’s exhibition space and potential markets online.
The Small Business Awards have been part of Corporate Vision’s portfolio of programs for the last seven years.
