Manila, Philippines—People with disabilities (PWDs) face daily challenges, such as social exclusion, discrimination, little access to education, and unemployment.
Online art gallery FilipinoArt.ph and the Grain Foundation for PWD Inc., a nonprofit organization that provides skills-based training and inclusive job opportunities for PWDs, tie up anew to raise funds to aid in the employment placement programs of PWDs.
Limited sets of three art coasters for P500 only, including the NCR shipping fee, are up for pre-order until December 4, 2022. Part of the proceeds will be donated to Grain Foundation’s various programs.
The coasters’ main art images have been lifted from a few chosen artworks featured in FilipinoArt’s third-anniversary virtual art exhibit, “Resurface: Facing the Familiar Stranger.”
