Imahica Art Gallery runs an exhibition titled “La Moderna Filipina 2024,” showcasing 12 remarkable contemporary Filipina artists, from March 2 to 22, 2024.
This exhibit showcases different perspectives of Filipina artists, and together, they show off their talents and talk about how women can be strong and thrive in the art world, often dominated by men.
The women artists include Alexandra Monserrat, Aliasha Arador, Alicia Lazo, Ayen Quias, Denise Heredia, Ellie Gaudite, Katey Olivia, Lhean Storm, Maica Borlagdan, Naomi Banal. Nicole Asares, and Renalli Trajano.
Every piece proves these Filipina artists’ depth of toughness and creativity, from bold to detailed, small to big paintings.
It includes various art forms, such as paintings, sculptures, and mixed media.
At the opening reception on March 2, the exhibit ensures an immersive experience for its guests, allowing them to engage with the artists and participate in meaningful conversations about their artistic journeys.
“La Moderna Filipina 2024” runs from March 2-22, 2024, at the Imahica Art Gallery, 2A Lee Gardens, Lee Street, Wack-Wack, Mandaluyong City.
