In honor of the Universal Postal Union’s 150th anniversary, the Philippine Postal Corporation (PHLPost) and Museo Orlina are hosting a nationwide stamp-design contest with the theme “150 Years of Enabling Communication and Empowering People Across Nations.”
Submission of entries is until July 15, 2024!
The competition is open to high school and college students, artists of all backgrounds, and interested individuals.
The winning designs will be featured on official stamps on October 9, 2024, for national and international circulation. Four winners will receive P50,000 and a souvenir frame each.
- Designs should reflect the contest theme.
- Entries must be submitted on canvas with an accompanying printed version.
- Only one entry per artist is allowed.
- Artists may use any color and orientation (portrait or landscape).
- Entry size: 10″ x 14″ or 14″ x 10″ (actual stamp size: 35×50 mm or 50x35mm).
- Include a narrative interpretation on a letter-size bond paper (8″ x 11″) with the artist’s full name, school/affiliation, email, and contact number. Place all materials in a brown envelope.
- Entries must NOT include the theme text, stamp denomination, year created, or the word “PILIPINAS.”
Send the entries via Domestic Express or Registered Mail Service to the Post Shop, Philately and Museum Division, Office of the Postmaker General, CMEC Post Office, Domestic Road, Brgy. 193, Pasay City 1301, Metro Manila.
