Whether you’re a flower enthusiast, a gardening lover, or simply looking for an extraordinary experience, the first-ever Philippine International Flower Festival (PHILIFF) titled “Bountiful Blooms” is the place to be from September 19-22, 2024, at The SPACE at One Ayala, Makati City. It’s an experience that promises to delight and inspire everyone.
PHILIFF – “Bountiful Blooms” will showcase the best in floral designing and garden landscaping and exhibits on ikebana, bonsai, and orchids.
Adding to the excitement, the festival will feature a trade show and a floral fashion show curated by the Filipino-Chinese designer, author, and curator Jerry Sibal. Through this pioneering event, Sibal aims to highlight the beauty of the Philippines and spotlight Filipino farmers.
Sibal’s passion for blending creativity with agriculture is at the heart of PHILIFF. He envisions the festival as a platform for Filipinos to invest in the thriving horticulture and floriculture industry, providing entrepreneurial and employment opportunities that contribute to the country’s economic growth and sustainability. This dream project is about giving back to the Philippines, educating the public on preserving nature and fostering agricultural growth.
Sibal emphasizes the importance of merging creativity and farming:
Into this event, creativity and arts should collaborate into this one. That’s what I’m trying to combine: the art and farming to spice up the whole industry. Because if we combine everything, the creative side will be endless.
By providing a space where people can interact with nature innovatively, Sibal hopes to inspire a deeper appreciation for the event’s artistic and agricultural aspects.
The SPACE at One Ayala’s Operation Head Frances Agustin and Marketing Manager Mela Miranda- Lasangue, fully support PHILIFF’s advocacy. They believe in supporting the Filipino community and fostering international connections through such meaningful initiatives.
Come and experience where nature and art intertwine beautifully, offering a unique way to engage with the natural world while celebrating the Philippines’ rich cultural heritage and creativity.
