Visual artist and content creator Raco Ruiz invites you to step into the world of CLOWNRRY, his third solo exhibition at Secret Fresh Gallery, running now until September 27, 2024.
In this bold and thought-provoking collection, Raco takes the familiar image of clowns–symbols of laughter and joy–and transforms it into powerful reflections of more profound emotional struggles. With CLOWNRRY, Raco sheds light on mental conditions and the personal challenges we all face, reminding us that even behind the brightest smiles, there’s often more than meets the eye.
Clowns have always fascinated me–the contrast between their colorful, happy exterior and private reality speaks to me.”
CLOWNRRY is a tribute to pop culture clowns and a mirror for how we all wear a bit of the “clown” in our lives. “We’ve all, in one way or another, grown up to be clowns ourselves. It’s not always joyful, but it’s the truth many of us live.” Raco reflects.
This exhibit features 10 striking pieces that explore the balance between outward appearances and inner truths. Don’t miss this opportunity to see Raco’s playful yet deep works.
Join us until September 27, 2024 at Secret Fresh Gallery, Ronac Art Center, Ortigas Ave., San Juan City, and be part of the conversation.
Experience the humor, depth, and reality behind CLOWNRRY!
