The NU College of Architecture hosts a remarkable exhibit connecting past and present through a dynamic celebration of talent, legacy, and artistic expression, titled “Panimula: A Fusion of Talent and Legacy Outset.” The exhibit is on display at the National University Museum, Camilo Oasis Hall, until October 19, 2024.
The open-themed exhibit is a tribute to Don Mariano Fortunato Jhocson, the founder of the National Universsity, presented by the Alumni Affairs Office, College of Architecture, and the Legacy Office.
The university is showcasing the creative expressions of 26 distinguished artists, alums, faculty, and students, celebrating the convergence of art, culture, and innovation. Among he featured artists are Camille Tolentino, Jeanne Belmonte, Marco Polo Cabrera, Arthur Tselishschev, Edison Par, Kinet Paintworks, Cox Soniel, Roy Mendoza, Gab Loreno, Mervin Demepelis, Jojo Leonar, Elias Pernecita, Daryl Barte, Grandjoy Agdidos, Adam Ortigas, Jaime Tacuyan Jr./DUAG Art, Jojo Belano, Mico Escorpeso, Ralph Lauren Barola, Alex Dela Cruz, Ma. Jared Kagne Garcia, Xyza Rosos, Luis Gallemit, Fritz Doloyaya, Manuel Llanita, and Nicole Menor.
The exhibit “Panimula” sets a fresh start to experience a vibrant fusion of creativity and cultural heritage, inviting the community to connect with the spirit of the university and its artistic community. It lets the viewers explore the diverse artworks, reflect on the rich traditions, and be inspired by them.
