Jacquelene has 4 artworks,
and is available for
commissioned work.

Jacquelene is a visual artist based in Cavite. She creates bodies of work using various materials, such as acrylic, charcoal, and her own texture mix. Through art, she can navigate the infinite realm of emotions and the repeating cycle of human events.

After graduating from De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde with a degree in Fashion Design and Merchandising, she had a short stint in the fashion industry before deciding to pursue a career in the visual arts. Through her background in fashion design, she understands the simple connections established between threads and fabrics, which create pieces that dress the body but, more importantly, express our desires, frustrations, wants, and the status quo of society. This time around, it is with the brush and the canvas that she continues the journey of mortality by painting realities and dreams.

"We are constantly searching for the bridge that will give us the necessary understanding. A power that, when acquired, can bridge the gap between the reality and the different forms of longing which serve as a cherry on top of the mystery called life," she said.
