Minasbate word for Maiden reminder 

An illustration of women's power in their grace and beauty serves as a reminder of a Filipina maiden's demeanor through time—the subject talks to the viewers like a dream.  

Part of the proceeds will benefit NU’s community outreach projects in Sampaloc, Manila. 

(The artwork is on display at National University Museum, 408 Sampaloc, Manila from October 14 to 19, 2024.) 

 

Rich contrasts between the dark blue background and the warm golden hues create a dramatic, otherworldly effect. Fine, realistic details enhance the surreal glow around the figure, presenting a mystical and enchanting mood.
