About the Artwork
As a follow-up to "Eyes Cream," "Eyes Cream II: Unrequited" is a pun-filled take on the crushing feeling of love not returned.
Using stark contrasts between black and white and hyper-realistic shading, it creates a surreal and eerie feel, evoking curiosity and unease.

Jennista thought she was done with art when her perfectionism got the better of her at the tender age of 12. Fast forward to when she's 22, and in between jobs, she picked up a 4B pencil and never looked back. The thirst for creating never waned in the 10 years of her hiatus, but instead, it constantly gnawed on her, which eventually burgeoned into something she finally came to understand she's meant to be doing for the rest of her life.
She's currently interested in surrealism as a concept, rendered in hyperrealism using charcoal and graphite.
