This painting was inspired by the movie "The Sound of Music," thus the title "The Hills are Alive."

This painting portrays a scene that is whimsical by using bright, happy colors, and bold strokes. I used mixed media mainly: layers of acrylic paint and modeling paste to achieve a sculptural effect on the background and the hills in the foreground.

This painting was inspired by the artist's experience, going home at midnight along an empty dark street on a rainy night with a crowded mind.

This round, textured painting features a radiant gold sun surrounded by blue and green leaves and delicate pink and gold petals, creating a sanctuary of light and vibrant color.

The different colors forming waves--crashing and blending onto each other--represent life's various stories, songs, and dances.

This artwork was motivated by the artist's desire to soar high and embrace all positive or negative experiences.  He has changed into the person he is today and advanced past what was physically impossible.

We don't look twice when it comes to rocks and sedimentary. But there's so much beauty in the layers and the textures. There's an array of colors with how light and darkness can play on the walls of a cave.
