Menchie Vitente , Quezon CityPastel, on Paper, 24w x 32h inches MDoor series in soft pastels at 12"x16" Canson Miteintes paper. Artist-grade or archival materials were used. Glass framed (polystyrene) at 17.5" x 20.5" with 2" matting which weighs each at 1.75kg.
There's a certain charm and warmth in doors that I wanted to capture. Doorways symbolize many things like shelter, security, a transition, a passageway to new opportunities, or leaving something behind.
