"Planting Rice," 2016

This painting was inspired by the artist's experience, going home at midnight along an empty dark street on a rainy night with a crowded mind. 

This is the third painting in a series called "Rainy Days in Cebu," which is a personal watercolor journal of local scenes and landscapes during the rainy season. 

Where are you on a rainy afternoon?

Fishes are one of the things that I love, especially kois. I'm always inspired by these wonderful fishes because they give positive vibes. 

Amor Fati translates to "love of fate."

This artwork reminds us that we should accept our fate, however or whatever life showers us, whether good or bad. We cannot change what we cannot control, Nonetheless, we should love our destiny for it is or what it is.

"Raindrops on the Leaves," 2021

This painting captures a peaceful moment indoors during a rainy day. A nice cup of tea with a good book, surrounded by the soothing sound of rain outside, is a simple joy of enjoying a quiet day indoors.

The La Carlota train in the 1900s was used to transport sugarcane.

The Estacion de Guiguinto (Guiguinto Train Station) was built in 1661.

This watercolor artwork was created during the first rain of summer. Along with the painting, a poem was born:

"The first rain brings forth healing,

Just like tears when words start failing,

Pain is a great teacher,

Our scars are our reminder,

That every raindrop will once more rise

And repeat the cycle that’s called life."
